Patients with heart disease may undergo changes in the ECG along with blood pressure changes during exercise. Exercise may be undertaken and measured using a treadmill or a bicycle type of ergonometer. The patient exercises on the ergonometer and measurements are made of the work output, ECG and blood pressure. The system may have alarms for specific changes in the ECG or blood pressure.
