An intermittent positive pressure ventilator on which a bellows is opened by a motor and closed by weights, thus regulating the pressure applied to inflate the lungs. It can be used with open or closed anaesthetic circuits and can provide negative pressure during the expiratory phase. It has provision for a humidifier and includes a respirometer.
