This is a terminal device for the fresh gas outlet on the front of some anaesthetic machines. It has a standard 22 mm taper (15 mm for paediatric use) to take a T-piece connecting to the breathing bag and patient circuit, and the whole device can be swivelled to deliver in the most convenient direction.
